On Sunday, June 21, 2026, Bordeaux will vibrate to the rhythm of instruments, voices, and bass lines to celebrate Music Day in style! Every year,the city transforms into a massive open-air stage, where free concerts, DJ sets, and musical performances take over the streets, parks, bars, and the most unexpected venues to get the people of Bordeaux dancing! And trust us, this year’s edition promises to be even more festive! Whether you’re a rock fan, an electro enthusiast, a jazz lover, or curious about world music, there’s something for everyone. Here’s an overview of the must-see venues and events you won’t want to miss on June 21!
Concerts in the historic heart of Bordeaux
Downtown Bordeaux will, of course, be the natural setting for the festivities. No need for a map: just follow the crowd and the music:
- Place Pey-Berland: brass band and Drumteam concerts from 8 p.m. to 11 p.m.
- MADD Courtyard: concert by the Bordeaux Wind Orchestra + DJ F aka la F.
- Place de la Comédie: rock concerts and metaclore from 8 PM to midnight with Chef & the Gang and Tremplin des 2 Rives.
- Place Fernand Lafargue: pop rock and jazz concert by CIAM Music School from 8 p.m. to 1 a.m.
- Cour Mably: Electro DJ sets with Isulia and Gimme Sound from 7 PM to 1 AM.
- Cour du Crédit Municipal: rock concerts featuring Bordeaux Rock, Flippin’ Freaks, and Les Disques du Paradis.
- Esplanade des Quinconces: DJ sets—House, Afro-house, reggaeton, and a light show featuring Pagaille, Peel Prod, and Sauce-Prod.
Electronic music at Square Dom Bedos
Organized by Orangeade Music and La Sueur, the Fête de la Musique party at Square Dom Bedos will be all about celebrating rhythm. From 7 PM to 1 AM, groove to the sounds of Orangeade DJs, La Sueur, Saari, and Margaux for an electric night!
House, dub, techno, and shatta DJ sets at Parc Bordelais
Parc Bordelais transforms into a party venue starting at 7 p.m., with DJ sets featuring house, techno, dub, and shatta beats. In total, you’ll find no fewer than 10 collectives, including Infinity Hi-Fi, Heavydance, and Helix, spread across 4 stages to keep things interesting!
Music Festival on the tram
In partnership with the TBM network and Restaurant Monzù, La Molécule is taking over Bordeaux’s Tram Line B and the Italian restaurant for a one-of-a-kind musical day. From 2 PM to 6 PM: hop on the Musical Tram for a wild atmosphere with DJ sets between Montaigne and the Cité du Vin. Then from 6 PM to midnight: head to Monzù Sainte Catherine for an electric evening at Place Jacques Lemoine.

And on Saturday, June 20?
While Music Day is officially on Sunday, June 21, some are kicking off the festivities on Saturday, June 20!
- Square Dom Bedos: an evening of music and dance from 7 PM to midnight, hosted by La Sueur and L’Orangeade.
- La Cité Bleue: a diverse lineup from 2 PM to 8 PM, featuring everything from a Disco clothing swap to karaoke.
- Halles de la Major: Check out the VYBZ Music Festival Pre-Party from 9 PM to 2 AM with a 100% Afro-Caribbean vibe.
- Municipal cultural institutions: they’re opening their doors and offering a varied program all day long, from musical siestas to screenings of musical films.
Children’s Music Festival
For young music lovers, the City of Bordeaux and the Éclats association have put together a musical program for families. Head to the heart of Parc Rivière starting at 2:30 PM for a truly shared experience featuringintroductory workshops, concerts, and fun activities.
