The not-to-be-missed Dansons sur les Quais festival is back! From July 10 to 27, the banks of the Garonne will be transformed into an open-air dance floor! If you’ve still got energy to spare after the summer festivals and guinguette evenings, we invite you to share in the warm, festive atmosphere of this exceptional event, true to the soul of Bordeaux!

Created in 2004, Dansons sur les Quais has become one of Bordeaux’s most emblematic summer events. This participatory, intergenerational festival celebrates dance in all its forms! The aim is simple: to make dance accessible to everyone, whether you’re a beginner, curious or passionate about dance. The idea is that everyone can learn, practice and discover a multitude of dance styles in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere. Every day, the festival offers free initiations, demonstrations, shows and, above all, themeddance evenings! Salsa, rock, tango, kizomba, hip-hop, swing, oriental or traditional dances… all aesthetics are represented to offer a true dancing world tour!
An accessible festival for all Bordelais
Designed for all audiences, Dansons sur les Quais is an inclusive and convivial event that’s sure to get everyone on board! Both daytime and evening events take place outdoors, in a magnificent setting on the banks of the Garonne. As you can see, all the conditions are in place for a wonderful time! Over 200 artists and teachers from 60 schools, troupes and associations will be generously sharing their passion. And the good news? Most of the program is free! In fact, initiations and practices are open to all, while certain evenings and shows are offered at a very accessible rate (5€ or included in a 20€ pass).
Dansons sur les Quais is the perfect opportunity to move, meet, learn and, above all, have fun.Because beyond the dancing, this festival is above all a celebration of sharing and Bordeaux’s joie de vivre! So, come July, let’s meet on the quays of Bordeaux!
