Celebrate Easter at the 4th Printemps de Soulac
Looking for a change of scenery over the Easter weekend without having to travel too far? Head for Soulac-sur-Mer for the 4th edition of Printemps de Soulac from April 19 to 21, 2025. Organized by the Label Soulac association in partnership with the town council, this event promises a springtime getaway of nature, local produce and good cheer! And above all, it brings together young and old alike!
What’s on?
On the Place de la Basilique, you’ll find a wine fair showcasing the region’s châteaux, with tastings and sales of exceptional vintages (to be consumed in moderation, of course)! To delight all those who love the scents of spring, there’ll be a large flower market to feast your eyes (and noses) on! And that’s not all: there’ll also be a craft market, food trucks with a variety of flavors, and even trike rides (those funny three-wheeled motorcycles)! And don’t miss the Jacques Brel tribute concert , Le Grand Jacques, featuring piano and vocals, on April 19 (booking required). Did we forget something? Yes, of course, and that’s the subject of this article! The most eagerly-awaited event of all, the Easter egg hunt, takes place on Monday April 21 in the Basilica square! Note that it’s free and reserved for children up to the age of 12!

Celebrate Easter at Château de Villandraut
On Monday, April 21, 2025, Château de Villandraut opens its doors to you for a festive day full of surprises on the occasion of its “Easter at the Château” event! This year’s theme is the joyful and colorful world of the circus, and your children will love it! Laughter, wonder and treats will be the order of the day in an enchanting setting combining heritage and magic!
What’s on the program?
Starting at 9:30 a.m., families will be able to enjoy a rich program of entertainment: giant wooden games to play together, a crazy clown show , a great egg hunt in the clearing for the greediest, not forgetting guided tours of the castle to discover its mysteries. Children can also stop by the make-up booth to transform themselves into tigers, clowns or fantastic creatures (a nice change from rabbits). The good news is that there will be two sessions during the day (morning hunters and afternoon hunters) from 9.30am to 12.30pm or from 2pm to 5pm. Of course, you’ll need to register, and the cost is €6 per child aged 3 to 12. And to prolong the pleasure, a refreshment bar and Easter snack will be available on site throughout the day.

The three giant egg hunts on Promenade Sainte-Catherine!
On Saturday, April 19, 2025, the Promenade Sainte-Catherine is organizing the 2nd edition of its Promenade au parcevent , and for the occasion there will be not just one but three giant egg hunts that will come to life in a specially imagined setting to fill young and old with wonder (yes yes, even you)
What’s on?
The day begins from 11am to 12pm with a hunt for children under 10. Equipped with little baskets, young explorers will set off in search of chocolate eggs hidden all over the place. The event is free of charge, but you’ll need to register your children to take part! In the afternoon, from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., it’s the teens’ turn to go in search of the eggs, with an enigma version. They’ll have to solve clues scattered around the center to get their hands on the coveted chocolates (it’s worth the effort)! Finally, for fans of challenges of all ages, a golden egg hunt will be held on the Promenade Sainte-Catherine Instagram account. The cleverest will be able to win exceptional gifts such as concert tickets , gift cards and other great surprises.
