The rendezvous forrum lovers
Building on the success of its first five editions, the festival is now a must-attend event for rum enthusiasts and epicureans (and maybe even pirates, who knows)! Once again this year, exceptional brands, unique cocktails and a festive atmosphere await you to enjoy the art of Bordeaux living as it should be! What’s on? From 12pm to 7pm, the main hall of the Palais will welcome the curious to explore the treasures of sugar cane! Please note that tastings end at 6.30pm.
Bordeaux, land of wine… and rum!
Long considered a wine capital, Bordeaux also has a strong historical link with rum. As early as the 18th century, Bordeaux merchants were actively marketing this spirit from the West Indies (emblematichouses still bear witness to this heritage). Today, rum is back in the limelight, and Bordeaux is paying tribute to it by placing it at the heart of this unique festival! The event’s ambition? Make the city theinternational meeting place for rum for a weekend, and turn the Palais de la Bourse into a veritable cathedral of spirits!
