The Initial Festival is undoubtedly the most eagerly awaited event in Bordeaux! At the same time, it’s Bordeaux’s biggest 100% electro open air event! After several successful editions, the Initial Festival is back to rock Bordeaux with an even more exceptional program! (names coming soon). Get ready! Here’s the big announcement: a new festival dedicated to urban culture is born. It’s already shaping up to be one of the must-see events of its kind. The line-up (still in progress) hits hard, with a mix of established and emerging artists: BOOBA, FAVE, JOLAGREEN23, LETO, MAUREEN, SCH, VALD… And the program promises to be epic: rap battles, breakdancing, food trucks… You can get your tickets now.

Banzai Land: the festival on a human scale
Great news! This year, the Banzaï Land festival returns for two weekends of celebration, on July 11 & 12 and July 18 & 19! For its 8ᵉ edition, rendezvous in the emblematic setting of the Université de la Victoire in Bordeaux. On the program? A unique open air mixing electro, tropical and alternative music with oncerts, DJ sets, performances and immersive scenography… all for free! Conceived by the Banzaï Lab label, this human-scale festival stands out above all for its singular artists. From international talents to local nuggets, the atmosphere promises to be as convivial as it is surprising!

Les Francofolies: France’s finest artists

Like Garorock, Les Francofolies needs no introduction! Every summer in July, La Rochelle plays host to this exceptional festival, attracting large numbers of festival-goers to celebrate music in a unique setting! For the 2025 edition, artists such as Julien Doré, IAM and Clara Luciani will be taking to the stage, but we won’t give you all the details of their (mostly French-speaking) FOLIE line-up!

We were there last year, and it’s safe to say we had a great time! First of all, we were seduced by the unique location of the Osmose Festival, which takes place at Château Formont! A festival in a château, that’s a dream! Then there’s the intimate, jovial atmosphere of the festival! This year, artists such as Upsilone and Victor Ruiz will be taking part, so get ready to have fun in bouncy castles while listening to exceptional sound!

Bordeaux Open Air Festival: 10 years on!

To celebrate the festival’s 10th anniversary, Bordeaux Open Air is offering several free open air events throughout the year! On Sunday August 3, in Mérignac’ s Parc de Bourran, a Roman-influenced open air event will feature electro programming inspired by the Italian capital. OnSunday, September 7, we’re off to downtown Bordeaux for a Local Heroes date in the Square Dom Bedos! And onSunday, September 14, the final event takes place in the Parc de Mussonville in Bègles, featuring the talented CHLOE, a key figure on the French electro scene! So, how about it?

Musicalarue: festivities in the streets
Are you ready for an extraordinary experience? Every year, Musicalarue returns to create a buzz in the small village of Luxey in the heart of the Landes region. From July 25 to 27, 2025, no fewer than 80 music groups, companies and troupes will perform on the Musicalarue stages. This year, artists such as Philippe Katerine, L’entourloop and Julien Doré will keep festival-goers dancing! The little extra? In addition to the festival, Musicalarue brings the village streets to life with street art shows!

Why not escape to Jamaica for a weekend? For 27 years, the SunSka Festival has been making the Gironde shine (it’s the Gironde’s biggest contemporary music event )!
