A spectacular new production from Puy du Fou
On Saturday, February 19, and Sunday, February 20, 2028, Bordeaux will host “Mousquetaire,” an original production by Puy du Fou. Following a premiere scheduled at La Seine Musicale in November 2027, the show will go on tour starting in January 2028.
For this new adventure, the famous Vendée theme park brings its expertise to the stage. Around fifty artists—including actors, dancers, stunt performers, and horsemen—will come together. The show will unfold in two acts, featuring immersive staging and spectacular visual effects. The original score, composed by Nathan Stornetta, will accompany this historical epic full of twists and turns.
An adventure worthy of swashbuckling novels

The plot takes us back to the early 17th century. We follow Bouton d’Or, a young orphan and horse trainer whose life is turned upside down when swordsmen attempt to kidnap him. Caught up in a mysterious affair of state, he sets out on the roads of France to understand what is happening to him.
As his quest unfolds, he’ll uncover a secret that could upend the kingdom’s fate. Along the way, he’ll cross paths with several iconic figures from the world of swashbuckling adventure. The Three Musketeers, Cyrano de Bergerac, Captain Fracasse, and the mysterious Sérafina will all enrich this epic tale. With duels, equestrian scenes, and romance, “Mousquetaire” promises a fast-paced adventure, crafted for lovers of grand tales.
