It’s already mid-May, Spring is well underway, and all we want to do (apart from chill out on the terrace) is eat ice cream to the point of freezing our heads off! And just in time, Bordeaux has some addresses that are sure to make you melt with pleasure! This time around, Bordeaux Secret has decided to make the top 3 ice-cream parlors in the city a little more exclusive.
1. La Fabrique Givrée

We’re full of praise for this ice cream artist… Since 2012, the frosty Jérémie Runel has been delighting the people of Bordeaux with his “glacetronomiques” creations in a wide range of flavors. Choose from sorbet, ice cream in a jar, ice cream cone, eskimo (the frozen stick from your childhood) or kif (a mix between éclair and ice cream). We’re going for a Caracombekif (sablé breton, caramel fleur de sel ice cream, caramel coulis, vanilla-tonka ice cream and caramelized almonds)!
📍25 Rue du Pas-Saint-Georges, 33000 Bordeaux
2. La Maison du Glacier
Welcome to the Palais des Glaces de Bordeaux. On Place Saint-Pierre, its warm terrace and stylishly decorated store invite you to relax and indulge. Every summer since 2016, Bordelais have been flocking to sample one of the House’s 80 flavors, crafted by Terre Adélie’s Master Glaciers, most of them organic. Hibiscus, organic beer, lemongrass, pea flowers… Enough to challenge the most daring of your friends.
📍1, Place Saint-Pierre, 33000 Bordeaux
3. Fernand & Paulette

Two scoops of chocolate ice cream not for you? Then you’ve come to the right place. On a scooter or from the ice cream bar, on the Miroir d’Eau or Plage du Lac, this 2.0 ice cream parlour offers the most refreshing granités and ice cream sticks. Iced tea with organic peach, strawberry, kiwi, black sesame (vegan), coconut, pistachio, Ricard or mojito… If you choose the latter, rest assured that you’ll need several scoops if you hope to get “tipsy”.
