Henriette & Olga
A veritable temple to sweetness and gourmands, it’s hardly surprising that their Yule logs are a hit again this year. It’s hard to choose between the sweet almond and honey log, the chocolate-pecan log and the Crousti Cookie frozen log. We leave it to you to make this impossible choice. And if you haven’t tried their hot chocolate yet, make the most of your visit for a little winter break.

PM Pâtisserie

Pierre Mathieu is from Bordeaux, and proud of it! While we usually stop by his patisserie to enjoy a delicious canelé, in late 2025, we’ll be stopping by especially for his range of mouth-watering logs! Whether you prefer a traditional log, an ice-cream log or a fir log (we’ll let you be surprised!), you’ll be spoilt for choice.

Micheline and Paulette’s workshop
Micheline et Paulette ‘s orders are in! This year, the focus is on efficiency, with two tasty options in 6-person formats. On the one hand, the sweetness of almond and vanilla meet the tangy notes of lime and passion fruit; on the other, the creaminess of a chocolate mousse sublimated by a coating of praline. A conundrum we’ve yet to resolve.

L’InterContinental
The Grand Hôtel de Bordeaux has not failed to surprise us this year! After announcing a Wizards’ Banquet in February, their work-of-art Christmas logs are finally unveiled. A Sapin Enchanté hides a crunchy crumble mingled with a creamy chocolate mousse, while a Cabane Tchanquée contains a tasty marriage of chocolate and citrus.
Michel MaBelle plant-based patisserie
For a vegan and gluten-free option, head to Michel MaBelle. The first 100% plant-based patisserie in Bordeaux, this year it offers two delicious homemade logs. Your heart will sway between the character of the peanut-choco log and the pep of the lemon-clementine log. Enough to satisfy all diets, far from prejudice!
