While the wines of Bordeaux and its region are often universally acclaimed, pair them with a distinctive raw-milk cheese and the full essence of French gastronomy comes to life. It is in this spirit that Les Petits Crus is setting up shop in the capital of the Gironde region. To mark its tenth anniversary, it is taking over the historic Chartrons neighborhood with a concept that is as indulgent as it is playful, where tasting goes hand in hand with learning and shared enjoyment.
Les Petits Crus: Customized and Accessible Tastings in Les Chartrons

It is at 34 Rue Notre-Dame, in the heart of one of the city’s most vibrant neighborhoods, that Les Petits Crus has opened its doors. Designed to make wine and cheese pairings accessible to everyone, the venue takes an educational approach. Each tasting is accompanied by explanatory sheets that help explore the subtleties of flavor pairings. At your own pace, you can refine your palate with ease, without taking yourself too seriously.
With a customizable experience, guests can choose from several tasting formats, featuring four or six pairings. They also select the types of cheeses they wish to discover. The tasting can be complemented with delicious tapas featuring fine charcuterie or spreads.
Exceptional products at the heart of the concept

When it comes to products, quality is the watchword. The cheeses are selected by a Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF), a guarantee of authenticity and expertise. All are made exclusively from raw milk, in keeping with tradition.
The wine list, meanwhile, gives pride of place to independent winemakers, with a significant proportion of wines from organic farming. Some have even been custom-created for the brand, in direct collaboration with partner estates. To round out the experience, chocolates from a renowned French artisan enhance the pairings on offer.
“Food Gaming”: When Tasting Becomes a Game
But Les Petits Crus’s uniqueness doesn’t stop there. The venue also offers“Food Gaming”sessions. The concept? A reimagined escape game, combining puzzles and tastings. Working in teams, participants must solve challenges centered on wine, cheese, as well as chocolate or beer. The whole experience takes place within a time limit, with a gourmet reward at the end. An immersive experience that transforms tasting into a moment of play and sharing.
Whether you’re a curious amateur or a connoisseur, Les Petits Crus promises an accessible sensory experience. Combining discovery, conviviality, and pleasure, this new Bordeaux spot has everything to win you over.
