What if we told you it was possible to mix dinosaurs and futurism? Or pyramids and technology? Or exchange ideas with Monet and Renoir? These are the experiences that Eclipso Bordeaux offers with its three virtual reality exhibitions: Mondes Disparus, L’horizon de Khéops and les Impressionnistes.
The concept? Go on an immersive expedition to discover the hidden secrets of the past. The Khéops exhibition takes you back 4500 years to the heart of Egyptian culture. As for the Disappearing Worlds exhibition, you’ll relive the major stages in the evolution of the planet and living organisms over several billion years. 3. Take a break with the “Air de repos” exhibition
At a time when the simple act of breathing is becoming a real privilege because of the pollution and viruses that surround us, the “Air de repos” exhibition questions and helps us to become aware of the fact of breathing on a collective as well as an individual scale. Through a variety of installations, the idea is to transform the museum into a temporary breathing room. Are you ready for a breath of fresh air?

4. The Primavera exhibition
In the midst of a world that raises many questions, the younger generations are gradually becoming aware of the challenges they face in overcoming the various crises that threaten them more and more every day. The Primavera exhibition at the Frac addresses these issues. The creations express the claims, aspirations and concerns of a group of artists about the struggles attributed to new generations. If you’d like to rethink the world in a different way, you’ll love this exhibition!

5. Tribute to Goya
Exiled for political reasons, Francisco de Goya spent the last 4 years of his life in Bordeaux. The exhibition reveals a whole range of Goya’s visionary work (a small appetizer before the major exhibition planned for the anniversary of his death in 2028). Some twenty prints await you at the Musée des Beaux-Arts de Bordeaux to discover the story of this legendary Spaniard!

7. The Dinosaurs: They’re Here exhibition
Do your kids love dinosaurs? Do you? Imagine an exhibition that invites you to relive a very distant past? This exhibition invites you to explore the Cretaceous, Jurassic and Triassic eras (no less!) You’ll find iconic creatures like the triceratops, stegosaurus, tyrannosaurus, ankylosaurus and baryonyx! The idea was to answer the following questions: “How did they live on Earth at that time?” “How did they protect themselves?” “What did they really look like? Did they have feathers, hair or scales?
