At Bordeaux Secret, we also love brunch! What could be better than this feast where you can eat both sweet and savoury? Not much! And in Bordeaux, the choice is so wide that it’s sometimes hard to find THE right address to delight our taste buds (and stomachs). To make things easier for you, we’re unveiling the city’s five best brunches.
1. Miah Café
Located on rue Judaïque, Miah Café is one of our favorite spots in Bordeaux. In a cosy, beautifully decorated setting, you’ll succumb to a crazy brunch to suit everyone’s diet. In fact, Miah Café offers three versions of brunch: carni, vegetarian and vegan/gluten-free. Every week, you’ll discover seasonal cuisine using fresh, high-quality produce. Our favorite is the carni brunch at 24 euros! What’s on the menu? A savory waffle served with spiced roast chicken, onion compote, goat cheese, honey and butternut cream. All served with a hot drink, a cold beverage and pancakes! To reserve a table, click here.
📍 71 rue Judaïque
2. Peter coffee shop
Peter Coffee Shop is the perfect place to spend your day! Whether you want to work, brunch, read a book or enjoy a well-deserved beer, this cosy space is sure to satisfy all your desires. Located a stone’s throw from the famous Grosse Cloche, Peter offers a selection of world street food, homemade pastries, specialty coffee and many other surprises. Open daily from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., you can sit back and relax with a hot drink and a fondant cookie in hand. The perfect place to relax!
📍3 Rue de Guienne
3. Sauvages café
Want to wake up your taste buds this weekend in Bordeaux? Head for Les Sauvages, right in the heart of Bordeaux, a stone’s throw from Place Pey-Berland! In a warm and wild atmosphere, Justine and her team welcome you with a big smile and pamper you as if you were at home. Their favorite playground? Brunch, of course! Their menu evolves with the seasons and the chef’s inspiration to guarantee fresh, creative and ultra-gourmet dishes! Freshly squeezed juices, quality produce, top-notch service: it’s all there for a delicious moment! A clever reminder: reservations are possible on Saturdays, but on Sundays, it’s first come, first served! You’ll need to set a small alarm clock!

4. Suzzi
A Swedish nugget located just a stone’s throw from Place Pey Berland, Suzzi offers a Scandinavian brunch that’s well worth the detour! In a warm atmosphere with cosy banquettes and garlands of flowers, you can discover Swedish specialties made with fresh produce. Served from Wednesday to Sunday, brunch includes a choice of Nordic toast, savory potato pancakes with a crispy bacon or veggie version, homemade fruit-granola yogurt, a Swedish sweet (cinnamon roll or Swedish waffle), a cold drink and a hot beverage. Count €25 per person.
📍 46-48 rue des Trois-Conils
⏰ Wednesday to Saturday 9am to 4pm, Sunday 10am to 4pm
5. She and Him
She and Him is the perfect place for a break after a busy day. Located near Place des Grands Hommes, this cozy spot offers a warm and colorful culinary experience. Here, a home-cooked brunch using local produce awaits you, with an array of healthy and seasonal dishes on the menu! Pancakes, chia bowls and avocado toast are all on the menu! From Monday to Friday, Thomas and Emely offer gourmet treats featuring the famous “mille-crêpes ” to share. With chocolate, lemon, pistachio or matcha chai, the choice is difficult, but it’s also a good reason to come back. All accompanied by coffees, teas and cold drinks. Yum!
