This year, Bordeaux and its metropolitan area sparkle with Christmas markets and immersive shows. Talence joins in the fun once again with Talence en Lumières, one of winter’s most spectacular illuminated adventures. From December 12 to 14, 2025, Parc Peixotto is transformed into a spectacular nocturnal journey, where the charm of water mingles with the poetry of light and sound. A dive into the heart of Venetian carnivals by Ruggieri.
A Venetian ball at the gates of Bordeaux
The ball opens on Le Canal Enchanté, where we stroll among the reflections and glimmers of a fairytale setting. A poetic stroll that invites us to join the Venetian Garden, tinged with the atmosphere of the finest Venetian festivals. Sound envelops the space, while the flickering of candles mingles with garlands of light. A veritable starry sky unfolds beneath our feet and those of elegantly costumed silhouettes.
The ball continues, culminating in the majestic façade of Château Peixotto. Let yourself be enchanted by an aquatic ballet as delicate as it is spectacular, where hundreds of jets of water soar and dance to the rhythm of the famous notes of “Rondo Veneziano”. A grandiose, spellbinding choreography that amazes young and old alike.
A journey to the heart of Venice without leaving the Gironde
Along the way, visitors come across the Palines di Venezia, the colorful poles emblematic of the canals, reinterpreted for the occasion. Then come the Grandes Arcades, imposing arches of light that guide the public to the rest of the route.
Further on, a gigantic mask appears in the shadows. Métamorphoses en Mascarade unveils a majestic wolf, animated by changing textures, patterns and colors.
The expedition continues withÎle aux Fontaines Étincelles, where glittering jets project their silver sparkles. Before arriving at the château, visitors finally skirt the Lagune’s Luminous Reedbeds, which line the walkways in a poetic corridor.
