Bordeaux is being transformed this autumn into a veritable digital ocean. The exhibition Ocean – Immersion in the Underwater World, presented at the Bassin des Lumières, offers an immersive dive into the underwater world, combining audiovisual prowess with an ecological message. Designed to amaze young and old alike, this experience lets you navigate among over 100 marine species, in a show that combines striking realism and visual poetry.
Total immersion in the depths of the sea

Dive into a fascinating underwater world where turtles, dolphins, orcas and giant blue whales evolve among colorful reefs and schools of fish. Mysterious wrecks and underwater caves are revealed on the walls of the Bassin des Lumières thanks to cutting-edge audiovisual technology, for a truly sensory voyage. The soundtrack, a blend of natural ocean sounds and music from iconic films such as Goldfinger, accompanies each scene and amplifies the immersion experience.
Ocean – an artistic and educational experience not to be missed

After a year’s work, over 800 video sequences have been brought together to celebrate the beauty of the oceans and raise public awareness ofman’s influence on marine life, particularly in the depths.
