Six days, about thirty restaurants, and one region: the Périgord. From October 19 to 24, 2026, the Dordogne is set to embark on an adventure: the first edition of La Semaine des Chefs. With exclusive menus, this is the perfect opportunity to treat yourself to a gourmet getaway and to (re)discover the region. And because fine dining is even more enjoyable when it’s accessible, the event focuses on straightforward pricing and a healthy dose of solidarity.
About thirty chefs and affordable menus

For six days, some thirty chefs invite us to discover exclusive menus inspired by the Périgord region. A wonderful way to step inside renowned restaurants throughout the Dordogne.
To make it accessible to as many people as possible, two fixed-price options are available: €38 or €48, wine included. But this gourmet week does more than just delight the taste buds. For every meal served, €1 will be donated to a local nonprofit to help fund meals for people in need. It’s a way to make this first edition an event that’s as indulgent as it is charitable.
A Taste of the Périgord Region

Duck, the undisputed symbol of the Périgord, will naturally take center stage on the plates. Foie gras, confit, seared duck breast over hot coals, confit gizzards, marinated hearts… All paired with wines from Bergerac and Duras. But the region’s culinary treasures don’t stop there. Black truffles, walnuts, porcini mushrooms, chestnuts, farm-raised lamb, and seasonal vegetables will make up menus that reflect the diversity of the Périgord’s landscapes and culinary heritage.
And behind each chef lies an entire ecosystem at work in the kitchen: local farmers, market gardeners, winemakers, and artisans are also part of the initiative. The event thus brings together the entire industry around a shared mission of passing on culinary traditions.
A festive finale at the Domme market hall

On Saturday, October 24, the week concludes with the Guinguette des Chefs, set up under the market hall of the bastide town of Domme as part of Bastides en Fête. On the program: a gourmet market, a festive lunch, and, in the evening, a grand traditional Périgord dinner accompanied by music. The next day, Sunday, October 25, the Grand Rendez-vous des Chefs keeps the celebration going with live cooking demonstrations bringing together producers and chefs in front of the audience.
Among the first confirmed restaurants are:
- The Logis Hôtel La Hoirie in Sarlat-la-Canéda
- La Table du Centenaire in Les Eyzies
- The Restaurant Aux Berges de la Vézère in Montignac-Lascaux
- Scallops in Bergerac
- Le Moulin de l’Imaginaire in Terrasson
The final menus and reservation details will be announced shortly. For more information and the program, visit the official website of La Semaine des Chefs.
