What exactly is the Bordeaux Youth Card?
The Bordeaux Youth Card is a program launched by Bordeaux Métropole and designed for children, teenagers, and young adults. Its goal? To make it easier to access culture, recreation, and sports through a wide range of discounts.
The practical side: everything is now handled through a dedicated mobile app that includes:
- Your e-Cartejeune (to be presented to participating partners).
- A geolocated map of participating partners to help you find deals near you.
- A search engine to find great deals based on your interests.
- An events calendar so you don’t miss out on the latest activities.
It’s enough to turn your phone into a veritable guidebook to the best deals in Bordeaux.
And for parents, a family account lets you consolidate the e-Cards for multiple children in one place. It’s a convenient way to manage the whole family without having to juggle different accounts.
Great deals on culture, sports, and recreation at discounted prices

The main advantage of the Carte Jeune is, of course, its wide range of partner organizations. The discounts cover a variety of different areas, allowing you to enjoy a variety of activities throughout the year.
- Movies, concerts, and shows
Want to go to the movies or see a show? Several venues offer special rates to Carte Jeune holders, such as CGR movie theaters, the Opéra National de Bordeaux, Arlette Gruss, and L’Estrade.
- Museums and Attractions
La Cité du Vin, Les Bassins des Lumières, the Musée d’Aquitaine, or Le Labo Photo: the card also opens the doors to numerous cultural venues. Museums, tours, workshops, and other experiences let you discover Bordeaux in a new light, without necessarily having to set aside a large budget.
- Festivals and events
The Carte Jeune is also making its mark on Bordeaux’s cultural calendar. Certain partner festivals and events offer specific perks. Among the offerings are TEDxBordeaux, Brunch Electronik Bordeaux, and Bordeaux Geekfest.
- Sports and Recreation
Swimming pools, sports facilities, professional club games, physical activities, bookstores, and even escape rooms are among the available offers.
- Transportation
The Carte Jeune also offers discounts on travel within the metropolitan area, including up to 25% off scooter and bike rides (Dott, Pony) and 15% off self-service scooters (Yego, Edog).
