After eight months of competition and visits to more than 40 cities, The Champions Burger announced its winner in Paris. For this European grand finale, the public chose the Spanish chain Godeo and its “Umami Gold.” But another creation is sure to catch the attention of Bordeaux residents: Madison and its “Pink Paradise” took third place on the podium. A well-deserved reward after their victory in the Bordeaux round!
The Champions Burger, the European Burger Championship

From classic burgers to the wildest creations, The Champions Burger celebrates the gourmet burger in all its forms. The concept is simple: restaurants from several countries compete with their signature creations. And the public has the final say!
This 2026 edition toured more than 40 cities over eight months. Lyon, Bordeaux, Lille, Madrid, Barcelona, and Lisbon hosted the various stops. Visitors’ votes gradually narrowed down the field to the finalists.
For the final event, the action moved to Paris La Défense. For 26 days, the tour’s best burgers were showcased to the Parisian public. At the end of this grand finale, Godeo claimed the title of Best Burger in Europe 2026 with its “Umami Gold.” El Tarantín Chiflado came in second with “La Bichota Pro Max.”
Madison and its “Pink Paradise” on the podium

And third place goes to Madison, which certainly didn’t go unnoticed with its highly recognizable “Pink Paradise.”
It’s hard to miss its pink brioche bun, the true signature of this burger. Inside, you’ll find a beef smashburger topped with melted cheese, pulled beef, and caramelized onions. Crispy bits, cream cheese, and a smoky sauce round out the recipe.
But above all, this third-place finish confirms Madison’s success in France. The chain had already won the Bordeaux leg, where its “Pink Paradise” won over the local crowd. Madison thus wraps up The Champions Burger on a high note. And for the people of Bordeaux who voted for the “Pink Paradise” this summer, this European medal surely feels a bit like a local victory!
