The news has just broken: users of the TBM network will once again have to contend with a fare increase. Approved by the metropolitan council on Friday, September 25, 2026, the new fare schedule will take effect on January 1, 2027. With an average increase of about 3%, the changes will affect both trams and buses. However, some fare options will be affected more than others.
Season Pass Prices on the Rise

Good news for occasional riders: single-ride tickets will remain at 1.90 euros in 2027. However, several other fare options will see an increase.
The 10-trip full-fare pass will rise from 15.70 to 16.10 euros. The reduced-fare version will reach 9.20 euros, following a 4.5% increase. Monthly passes will also be affected. The weekly pass will increase by 1 euro, reaching 18.50 euros—a 5.7% increase. The annual “Pitchoun” pass, meanwhile, will see a more moderate increase of 3.2%, rising to 156 euros. As for school transportation, the annual SCODI pass will increase from 100 to 105 euros.
The evening pass and the event pass will also see a 50-cent increase, rising from 3.50 to 4 euros (+14.3%). This increase is justified in particular by the unlimited travel offered with these passes.
The Mobibus is particularly affected

However, the fare for the Mobibus—a transportation service for people with disabilities or limited mobility—will see the sharpest increase.
Starting January 1, the price of the ticket will rise from 3 to 3.50 euros, a 16.7% increase.
Another change to note for 2027: the minimum age to qualify forthe senior pass will increase from 60 to 63.
